I went on vacation to Alaska to my 20Th high school reunion. I wanted to share some pictures with you gals and I know I won't be able to get to all of you so I'm using this site. I hope that's OK. I really tried to keep the number of pictures down but it was very hard. I hope you enjoy, it is very beautiful country.

These are pictes of glacier flows in the mountain ranges before you fly into Anchorage.

You can see where the ice chunks are falling off int the water.

These flows are still ice but they are still moving.

This is my sister Michele in Sterling Alaska at her house.

This is leaving Sterling, Ther is actually a Carquest Auto parts store on the right.

I had to drive almost 80 miles to Seward and I took alot of pictures out the car window.

Like the pedestrian crossing in the middle of nowhere.

Crossing the Kenai River.

Which comes from the Kenai Lake.
This is aproaching what is called the Soldotna Y. You can only go two directions. South to Seward or North to Anchorage. I just came from the Soldotna direction.

I am on my way to Seward.
Aproaching a small town about 20 miles out of Seward called Moose Pass.
It's not very big. The community lives in the woods like most towns.
Almost to Seward!
Coming into te edge of Seward about mile three. Mile zero is the edge of the ocean. Which you can see in the distance.
I found old apartment that I lived in with my sister Kim and my mom. I can't beleive how small it is. We paid 200.00 a month for it. It is only an office space.

I also found what was left of my dads cabin at mile four. It burned down after my dad moved out. The next person got made at the landlord and torched it with a gas can. It was very hard to find I walked past it twice. The brush is very thick up there.

This is a frien of mines property that he is developing and is going to to put a hous on it. He has an Eagles nest not too far away and he can watch them feed their babies. What a great view.

I also took a cruise out int Resurection Bay. This cruise ship was docked in the large port where the military ships usually dock. It is a Holland American Line cruise ship.

Seward docks.

Walking to my small cruise ship.

The Star Of The Northwest.

Small part of town down the shore of Seward.

These Eagles were very chatty.

Beutiful cliffs along the bay.

This is a glacier that flows into the bay. The water is about 46 degrees.

This is a map of the tour. Seward is at the top. We followed the dotted line.

I had fun even though I was by myself . It rained alot and the wind blew hard the further out to sea we went.

Seal resting on the rocks.

Snow melting, creating waterfalls off the cliffs of the shoreline.
